If you refused the test or were charged with refusing the test:

• You face an automatic suspension of your license for ninety (90) days to five (5) years.
• You have ten (10) business days from the date of your arrest to file a “request for administrative hearing” with the Department of Public Safety.

If you submitted to a test which yielded a test result of .08 or more:

• Your license may be suspended for ninety (90) days to five (5) years.

If your arrest was in a state other than Alabama, your license may also be at risk.
